Why I Ask You to Provide Your Website Content Before the Design Period

Before I begin building your website, I’ll ask you to fill out a questionnaire which helps me better understand your business and goals. In most cases, I’ll take what you provide to use as copy (or the words or text) on various pages of your website (e.g. About Me, Services). Don’t worry—I’ll help polish it up and make sure everything sounds coherent, ties together well, and is strong—all while maintaining your brand’s voice and personality.

Here are some of my favorite writing tips I reference:

You might also want to hire a professional copywriter who can help really elevate your business. Usually they’ll layout the copy how it should look on your website. If you go this route, I’ll ask you to submit all content ahead of your scheduled design period so that when the design period begins, I have everything I need to build your website.

If you want someone else to handle your content writing, let me know and I’ll pair you with one of my copywriting partners.
